League Leaders,

Can you please let us all know what the sched for games on July 4th weekend asap so we can plan our family events BBQs etc... Who plays in morning who plays at night, what times?

What timing !!

I just got off the phone with Derrick and we discussed this at length. At this time we can't really give a clear answer. We are working on it. There are numerous factors that go into planning something like this (night games) because it's the 4th of July weekend.

Please be patient as we are trying to get all the games played on Saturday. We have to figure out with time constraints if we need to break up the games with 3 in the morning and 3 night. We are working on it though.

Having games on Saturday night makes no sense. People have plans for the weekend.

The league is supposed to be on sat mornings/afternoon. Why is this week different??

I could be wrong but Im sure BJ didnt vote to play that weekend. That dude is a busy little guy ( LOL ) and Im sure he would have wanted to make/have plans that weekend . Myself and others can play in the morning , so thats fine. I just dont understand the whole night aspect. Not to mention its a little more than a week away and we have no clue whos playing when. I didnt know I was putting pressure on anyone, lol . Hey it is what it is, just doesnt make sense to me.

I like the night games. just nice to play under the lights. i understand its a busy wkd.

were the games on friday night last year?? is that a possibility this year d floyd?? just wondering...obviously we will field a team either way...

as I remember the games were on Sat. last year.

I believe there were 3 games Friday night and 2 games sat morning last year

FIRST OF ALL I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL TEAMS FOR THERE PAIENTS ON THIS MATTER. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO REMIND TEAMS THAT THE NIGHT GAMES ARE A CAVIOT FOR THE LEAGUE, AT AN EXTRA EXPENSE. AT NO TIME WOULD I WANT TO PUT THIS EXPENSE ON THE ALREADY CASH STRAPPED TEAMS, THEREFORE IN THE PAST I'VE ABSORBED THE COST MYSELF. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS YEAR, WITH THE SCHEDULING OF SOCCER LEAGUES AND GROWING FIELD AND UTILITY COSTS, WE ARE UNABLE TO HOLD THE NIGHT GAMES THIS YEAR. SO GAME TIMES FOR THIS WEEKEND ARE AS FOLLOWS:
