Information on This League

Hello, I will be moving to the Buffalo area this summer, I have played for many years on a top Flag Football team in the Chicago Sport and Social Clubs most competitive and physical league. So I am looking for a flag football league in the Buffalo area that is similar to the one I play in Chicago. Can someone please tell me where I can find the rules for this league?

Is it a 7 on 7 league? Is there blocking? Is there any blocking downfield? Are there kickoffs? Our league is pretty physical and I just want to find a similar league. Thanks.

8 on 8. There are kickoffs, XPs, punts, and there is blocking and downfield blocking. This is my first year in the league, but through two games it seems like a really solid league. I think final rosters need to be in by next week though, don't think you'd be able to get on a team for this summer...

Wow, awesome! Sucks about this summer, but at least there is hope that there is at least an opportunity to play in the future. Is there a fall season? Where can I find more information about where you play and future seasons?

I move out in early July. It sounds like that may be a bit late for this season. But is there a fall season? Any info would be great.

Likewise where is the field you play at?

The field is downtown, a few blocks from the Sabres arena. There's an indoor league in the fall, a few of the same teams from this outdoor league. The indoor league is about 10-15 minutes south of the city, still an 8 on 8 league, no kickoffs and not as physical play tho.

indoor league SUCKS. Play JFK "touch" same rules, except no flags, one hand touch.

this is my team's first year in the JFK league, I didn't know they had a "touch" one. I'm not a big fan of the indoor league. when does the "touch" league start?

This league is WNYFFL played @ the JFK field. The fall "one hand touch" league is named the JFK league, games played @ jfk and tift fields. they start up the jfk league I believe in Sept. or last week of Aug. Brian Perry (league director) can be found moonlighting as the head coach of the Eagles....he can fill in the details....

So let me get this straight, just because there is a lot of info. As for this league, the more physical and fun league, there is only a summer play. And in the fall when football is usually played... this league has no fall league. But there are other indoor leagues that are available to play in but they aren't as physical as this league. And by the way thanks for all the information guys I really appreciate it.
